Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated SEND Tutor to provide personalised 1:1 tuition for pupils in and around Brentwood with additional learning and behavioural needs. In this role, you will plan and deliver tailored lessons designed to close learning gaps, build confidence, and help pupils re-engage with their education. Many of the young people you will support have been out of formal schooling for a period of time, so patience, encouragement, and a flexible teaching approach are essential. This role is ideal for experienced teachers or tutors who are looking to step away from the traditional classroom and focus on meaningful, individual support. Prospero Teaching will work closely with you to support pupil progress and ensure positive learning outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to the needs of each student Support students in subjects including Maths, English, Science. Help students build confidence and develop effective study skills Track progress and provide regular feedback to both students and parentsRequirements: QTS or equivalent teaching qualification / learning support experience.
