Prospero Teaching is looking for a Science Technician to join a Secondary School in Oldham. You will be responsible for the preparation of materials and resources for Science lessons, and you will be responsible for supporting learning in the department. Experience of working in a laboratory environment is essential for this position, as is an understanding of Health & Safety and COSHH.
The school is a mainstream Secondary School with a supportive cover team and teaching staff. The school is going from strength to strength and providing CPD throughout the year.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Science Graduate, with a 2:2 or higher or experience in a laboratory environment
- Previous experience working in a UK school not essential
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (we can provide this)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references
