As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support children's learning through play-based and structured activities.
  • Work with children on a 1:1 or small-group basis where required.
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering EYFS-focused learning activities.
  • Support children with SEN or additional needs as required.
  • Promote positive behaviour, emotional development, and social skills.
  • Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive early years environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children in an Early Years, nursery, or school setting is desirable.
  • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A willingness to support children with SEN or additional needs.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's wellbeing and development.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK.
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS registered with the update service or be willing to apply.
  • Provide two professional, child-related references covering the last two years.
