Nursery Teaching Assistant (Spanish Speaking)

Prospero Teaching is looking for a hardworking, motivating Reception teaching assistant in Enfield, East London.

The school is a Two-form Primary school with a supportive leadership team with a dynamic and inclusive learning environment committed to academic excellence and student success. We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistant to support our educators and help students thrive in and out of the classroom.

This position is open to all qualified candidates with a passion for education and student support. Prior classroom experience is preferred but not required.

Contract/Position Details

  • Location: Enfield, East London
  • Position: Nursery Teaching Assistant
  • Type of work: supporting teaching, assess student work, lesson plans/activities etc.
  • Contract or position start date: September 2025
  • Duration/Likely Duration: 1 term contract may be extended
  • Contract or position end date (if applicable): end of term 1
  • Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm): Temporary
  • Full time/part time: Full time
  • Minimum pay rate: depending on pay scale
  • Hours: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Mon – Fri (term time only)
  • Must be fluent or advanced in Spanish

Experience, Training and Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year experience teaching KS1 or KS2 preferred but not required
  • Up to date safeguarding training issued in the past year
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Holds CACHE or NVQ Level 3 or a degree in Childcare/Early Childcare
  • To be eligible for this role through Prospero: YOU MUST!
  • Have a valid right to work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS and be enrolled or willing to enrol onto the DBS update service
