Prospero Teaching is looking for a hardworking, motivating Reception teaching assistant in Enfield, North London. We are a Two‑form Primary school with a supportive leadership team and a dynamic, inclusive learning environment committed to academic excellence and student success. We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistant to support our educators and help students thrive both in and out of the classroom.
Contract Details
- Location: Enfield, North London
- Position: Nursery Teaching Assistant
- Type of work: supporting teaching, assessing student work, lesson plans and activities
- Contract start date: January 2026
- Duration: 1 term contract, may be extended
- Contract end date: end of term 1

- Hours: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)
Responsibilities
- Support teaching and classroom management
- Assess student work
- Develop lesson plans and activities
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience teaching KS1 or KS2 (preferred but not required)
- Up‑to‑date safeguarding training issued within the past year
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- Hold CACHE or NVQ Level 3 or a degree in Childcare/Early Childhood
Eligibility Requirements
- Valid right to work in the UK
- Enhanced child‑barred list DBS, and be enrolled or willing to enrol onto the DBS update service
