About the Role

As Nursery Room Leader, you’ll take charge of a dedicated team, guiding them in delivering high-quality care and play-based learning across all nursery age groups. You’ll be a role model of warmth, professionalism, and creativity-building strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

Your days will be filled with sensory exploration, imaginative play, and milestone moments-all within a supportive nursery that values your expertise and passion.

Locations: Worthing & Brinsbury Start Date: September 2025 or ASAP Hours: Monday to Friday, flexible shifts between 08:00am – 18:00pm Pay: From £ per hour

  • Lead your nursery room team with confidence, kindness, and professionalism

  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities for children aged 0-5 years

  • Maintain consistent routines and a safe, hygienic environment

  • Observe and record developmental progress across all age groups

  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers

  • Ensure safeguarding and health & safety standards are upheld

  • What We’re Looking For

  • Hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare

  • Have experience working with children from birth to five in a nursery setting

  • Are confident leading a small team and supporting colleagues

  • Bring a gentle, nurturing approach to your work

  • Understand the EYFS framework and child development across all early years

  • Communicate clearly and kindly with families and staff
