About the Role

As a PE Teacher, you will deliver high-quality teaching across a range of sports and fitness-related courses within the FE setting. You will be supporting learners aged 16+ to develop both practical skills and theoretical knowledge, helping them progress into further study, apprenticeships, or employment within the sports sector.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging lessons across a range of PE, sports science, and fitness units
  • Plan, prepare, and assess learners in line with curriculum expectations
  • Support students with varying abilities, ensuring inclusive and stimulating learning
  • Contribute to the pastoral and academic development of learners
  • Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment

Requirements

  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, QTLS, or equivalent) - FE-qualified teachers also welcome
  • Strong subject knowledge in PE, sports science, fitness, or a related discipline
  • Experience teaching learners aged 16+ (desirable but not essential)
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and supporting learner progression
