1:1 SEN Tutor – Key Stage 2 & 3 – Newcastle
Prospero Teaching is working with local councils, SEND services, and education providers across Newcastle and Tyne and Wear to deliver high-quality one-to-one SEN tutoring for students outside mainstream education. We are looking for experienced SEN Tutors to support Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 learners with Special Educational Needs such as SEMH, ASC, and learning difficulties.
About the Role
You’ll deliver personalised 1:1 sessions to help students re-engage with learning, build confidence, and progress in English and Maths. Sessions take place face-to-face in community venues, alternative provisions, or occasionally in the learner's home.
Position Details
- Pay: up to GBP30 per hour (DOE)
- Hours: up to 15 per week per student
- Start date: November 2025
- Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
- Duration: Ongoing
- Access to CPD training and learning resources
Your Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging 1:1 lessons tailored to individual needs

Requirements
- Experience teaching or tutoring SEN learners (KS2 or KS3)
- Right to work in the UK
