Make a Real Difference
We're looking for 1:1 Tutors to support students who are currently out of mainstream school for a variety of reasons: medical, anxiety, permanent exclusion (PEX), or other challenges.
Many of these young people have been out of education for a while and may have low confidence. Your role will be to re-engage them in learning, provide structure, and help them build both academic skills and personal development.
You’ll work closely with Prospero Teaching to monitor progress and ensure every session makes a real impact.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver tailored 1:1 tuition to re-engage pupils in learning
- Provide structure and routine to daily schedules
- Support pupils with academic and emotional development
- Track progress and feedback to families
- Think creatively and adapt your approach to each student
We’re Looking For
- QTS or equivalent
- Experienced in UK classroom teaching
- Skilled in tutoring and supporting SEND or disengaged pupils
- Creative, patient, and able to think outside the box
