About the Role:
- The role involves planning and teaching engaging Maths lessons for pupils with a wide range of SEN in an SEND setting, enabling all pupils to make progress.
- Work with Primary and Secondary aged pupils within an SEND setting who have SEND such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, SLD and PMLD.
- Designing, planning and implementing a Maths curriculum.
- Managing challenging behaviour in a positive, proactive and consistent manner.
- Differentiating lessons to suit the needs and learning styles of all pupils.
- Using varied assessment methods to monitor pupil progress.
- Maintaining high levels of enthusiasm, energy and positivity when working with children.
- Collaborating effectively with Teaching Assistants to ensure students receive a high-quality educational experience.
