As a SEND Teacher, you'll join a team of dedicated professionals focused on providing high-quality, child-centred education that caters to the individual needs of each student.
As a SEND Teacher, you will:
- Deliver high-quality, tailored teaching primarily to primary-aged pupils.
- Plan and differentiate engaging lessons that meet EHCP outcomes and developmental milestones.
- Collaborate closely with the SENCO, support staff, and parents/carers to ensure a consistent, holistic approach to education.
- Focus on the academic, social, and emotional development of each child, supporting their unique needs.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in an SEN setting or strong SEN knowledge within mainstream education.
- A calm, empathetic, and resilient approach to classroom management.
- Passion for inclusive education and a commitment to ensuring every child makes progress.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students and deliver personalised learning.
To be eligible, you must:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK.
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service OR be willing to process a new application.
- Provide two professional child-related references.
