Attention all education professionals! Prospero Teaching is looking for dedicated 1:1 Tutors to support children across the BCP.

Position Details

  • Location: Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole
  • Position: Tutor/Mentor
  • Subject: Functional skills / life skills
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Duration: Ongoing (part‑time)
  • Pay: £25‑£30 per hour (minimum)
  • Hours: Flexible

Responsibilities

  • Provide one‑to‑one tutoring and mentoring to students, from a few hours to multiple sessions per week.
  • Complete weekly feedback forms, tracking each student’s progress, achievements and overall development.

Qualifications & Experience

  • QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent (desirable but not essential).
  • Previous experience working in a UK school.
  • Up‑to‑date safeguarding training issued within the last year.
  • Minimum 1 year’s experience in an educational setting.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced child‑barred DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to apply.
  • Two professional child‑related references.
