Prospero Teaching is working with an Ofsted GOOD secondary school in the borough of Barnet and is seeking a Maths teacher to join their thriving school after the February Half term. You will be joining the supportive Maths teaching team where students receive targeted teaching and support.

ABOUT THE SCHOOL AND MATHS TEACHER CONTRACT:

  • A small secondary school
  • An Ofsted rated ‘GOOD’ school
  • Supportive team and a strong leader
  • Department with a collaborative approach to planning, delivery and assessment
  • This is a full-time position including liaising with the Head of Maths, planning and marking
  • 1 Term but with the possibility to extend
  • Interviewing ASAP

THE RIGHT MATHS TEACHER WILL BE:

  • Hold a degree and PGCE
  • Confident with teaching up to A-Level
  • Proven ability to raise attainment
  • Creative, patient, and willing to think outside of the box

THE SUCCESSFUL MATHS TEACHER WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Experience teaching Maths A-Level
  • Ability to raise attainment
  • UK classroom teaching experience
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Be able to provide teaching references for the last 2 years
  • A fully enhanced DBS on the online update service
