The role:
- Deliver 1 hour per week of Functional Skills Maths (Level 1)
- Deliver 1 hour per week of GCSE English
- Plan engaging, structured sessions adapted to the student\’s needs
- Provide patient, encouraging, and consistent support
- Track progress and feedback to Prospero Teaching as required
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a recognised teaching or tutoring qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Have experience delivering Functional Skills Maths and/or GCSE English
- Be confident supporting post-16 learners
- Be reliable, empathetic, and able to build positive relationships
- Have an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply)
