Maths Teacher
Greenwich
London
Dedicated and passionate Maths Teachers are required to work across secondary schools in Greenwich from September 2025. Prospero are looking for Maths teachers who are willing to do day to day, short term and long term cover mainly to teach KS3 and KS4.
This positions are one to five days a week, part time and full time, and is open to ECTs as well as experienced Maths teachers.
You will be required to become fully involved within the department & school, like a permanent member of staff, and attend departmental meetings when required, and be available for parents evenings as well as planning and delivering captivating, high standard lessons that will stretch the pupils in their learning. You will also be required to mark the work and provide feedback along the way.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS:
Location -Greenwich
Position Maths Teacher (KS3/4), KS5 (ideally, but not essential for most schools)

Minimum rate of pay from GBP150 per day or pay to Scale
Hours 8:15am 4pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree educated with a good classification, preferably in Mathematics (however, it is not essential that it is Maths related)
Secondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT, , QTS, etc) in Maths
Previous experience working with young people (which we can reference)
Experience of teaching in a Secondary School (which we can reference)
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide the training)
Up to date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, again, we can provide the training)
