Prospero Teaching are working with a high-performing Secondary School in North Manchester who are looking for a confident and dynamic Teaching Assistant to start in January 2026, to support SEND pupils across the curriculum.

- Role: Teaching Assistant - Secondary School
- Location: North Manchester
- Contract: Full-time / Term-time only
- Minimum pay rate: £95/day
Are you passionate about supporting young people in their education? We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant secondary school in North Manchester. What will you do
- Work closely with teachers to support learning in the classroom.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students who need extra help.
- Assist in preparing resources and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Encourage and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
Experience, Training and Qualifications
- Recent Graduate, with a 2:2 or higher.
- Previous experience working in a UK school is desirable.
- Experience working with young people in either a voluntary or professional capacity desirable.
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year or willingness to complete Prospero’s online Safeguarding Training.
To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references
