Prospero Teaching is looking for a History teacher for an Ofsted Good Secondary school in Bolton. You will be responsible for teaching History to KS3 students. This timetable would be suitable for an ECT looking for support with their Induction terms, or a more experienced colleague looking for a long term supply booking.

Our school is easily accessible by road (M60, M61, A666). There are strong public transport links too via local train and bus services. We have several long‑term colleagues in the school who feel supported and welcomed. There is a dedicated pastoral support system in place including "on call", an internal inclusion/reflections room, and a Deputy Headteacher who focuses on dealing with behavioural issues swiftly and fairly.

The position is open to NQT's/ECT's and more experienced colleagues. You will be paid from day one of this assignment and we are available to discuss this role with teaching professionals as soon as possible.

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child‑related references
