Prospero Teaching is looking for a Biology teacher for an Ofsted Good Secondary school in Bury. You will be responsible for teaching Biology to KS4 groups (including Year 11), and General Science to both KS3 and KS4. This timetable would be suitable for an ECT looking for support with their Induction terms, or a more experienced colleague looking for a long term supply booking.
Our school is easily accessible by road (M60, M61, M62, M66), and there are strong public transport links too. Behaviour on the whole is positive and any isolated issues are dealt with by a positive, pro-active “on call” team with a wealth of experience in pastoral matters. We have several long-term colleagues in the school who feel supported and welcomed.
The position is open to NQT’s/ECT’s and more experienced colleagues. You will be paid to scale from day one of this assignment and we are available to discuss this role with teaching professionals as soon as possible.
