Key Responsibilities:
- Classroom Support: Assist the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities, helping create a calm, positive and well-organised learning environment.
- Small-Group & 1:1 Support: Work with pupils individually or in small groups to reinforce learning, support understanding, and encourage independence.
- Curriculum Support: Help prepare resources and support learning across the KS2 curriculum, including English, Maths and Topic subjects.
- Behaviour Support: Encourage positive behaviour and help pupils stay focused and engaged during lessons.
- Monitoring & Feedback: Observe pupil participation and progress, providing helpful feedback to the class teacher to support lesson planning.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other support staff to ensure consistent, effective support across the classroom.
- Safeguarding: Follow all school safeguarding procedures and help maintain a safe, supportive environment for all pupils.
