Pay - Β£100-Β£110 per day, depending on experience

Start Date - 07/09/2026

Contract - Temp to Perm

We are working with a large SEN school in Stockport to recruit calm and compassionate learning support assistants to join their team in September. The school supports pupils aged between 4-19, with complex learning needs, providing sensory support.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils 1:1, providing sensory and academic support
  • Maintain regular communication with parents and other staff members to monitor progress
  • Create and prepare fun and engaging learning resources

Requirements:

  • A Level 3 Diploma, or equivalent in Health and Social Care
  • Previous work experience supporting complex needs within a school or care setting is preferred
  • A calm, compassionate nature

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
