Prospero Teaching is looking for a Construction Technician to join a Specialist School in Bury. You will be responsible for the preparation of materials and resources for Construction lessons, and you will be responsible for supporting learning in the department. This role is ideal for an experienced tradesperson looking to work in education, to share their love and passion for the building profession with the next generation. The school is a small setting which provides a tailored, nurturing environment for younger people who need that little extra support. They have just moved into a brand new, purpose renovated site so the facilities are superb. The Construction course is a new offering at our school so this is an exciting time to join the setting and develop the course in your image.

Experience, Training and Qualifications
- Experience of Health and Safety / COSHH / joinery / brickwork / basic construction skills or experience in a "trades" environment
- Previous experience working in a UK school not essential
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (we can provide this)

- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child‑related references
