Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a highly organised and proactive professional to join a PRU as an Attendance Manager, in the Tameside area. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in both whole-school attendance and the success of pupils with SEN and SEMH.
The Role:
- Tracking and monitoring attendance for the school
- Liaising with parents, staff and third party agencies to promote increased attendance
- Using targeted interventions to support pupils with poor attendance
Position Details:
- Location: Tameside
- Type of Work: Temporary
- Full Time only
- Minimum Rate of Pay: £120 per day, depending on experience
- Start date: ASAP
- End date: Long-Term, Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
- Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in attendance and school administration
- Previous experience supporting SEMH and challenging behaviour
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
