Prospero Teaching are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Supply Teacher to work within a Secondary School in Sefton, starting in September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher looking for flexible, part-time work within a supportive secondary school environment.
Prospero Teaching work with over 25 secondary schools across Liverpool, Sefton and Knowsley, providing teachers with access to a wide range of supply and longer-term opportunities.
The Role
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across the secondary age range.
- Follow lesson plans and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Support students with their learning and development.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
- Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure a high standard of education.
The Successful Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience working within a secondary school environment.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A flexible and professional approach to teaching.
Requirements
- An Enhanced DBS (or be willing to obtain one).
- Valid Right to Work in the UK.
- An up-to-date CV detailing relevant teaching experience.
