  • Hours: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
  • Pay: Competitive, paid to scale

Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and Instruction: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging math lessons tailored to different ability levels. Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles.
  • Curriculum Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive math curriculum in alignment with national standards. Integrate real-world applications of mathematics to enhance student understanding.
  • Student Assessment: Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their mathematical skills. Maintain accurate records of student performance and track their progress over time.
  • Classroom Management: Establish and enforce classroom rules and procedures to create a positive learning environment. Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure all students remain focused and on task.
  • Student Support: Encourage and challenge advanced students to reach their full potential.
  • Communication: Foster a supportive and collaborative learning environment.

Experience, Training, and Qualifications:

  • Teaching qualification with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Previous experience in a UK school
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable, but not essential as some training will be provided)

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Enhanced Child Barred List DBS certificate registered with the online update service (or willingness to process a new application)
  • Provide at least two professional references covering the last 2 years in full, covering at least 24 months worked
