Prospero Teaching are seeking Learning Support Mentors to join a client school in Lyndhurst, Hampshire. Do you have a passion for supporting young people to reach their full potential? You’ll be working with pupils aged 5-19 with Autism Spectrum Condition and social, emotional, and behavioural needs.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Working closely with teachers and tutors to support students throughout their learning day.
- Acting as a mentor and role model, helping young people to build confidence, develop social skills, and engage positively with learning.
- Using restorative and proactive strategies to encourage positive behaviour and resilience.
- Supporting pupils one-to-one or in small groups, creating those breakthrough moments that make all the difference.
What We’re Looking For
- A caring, patient, and collaborative approach.
- GCSE Maths & English (grade C/level 4 or above).
- Previous SEN experience is desired, particularly supporting young people with Autism or behavioural needs.
- Resilience, adaptability, and a proactive mindset when supporting students with diverse needs.
- Experience in education or childcare is an advantage, but if you’re new and passionate, we’ll help you find your feet.

- Hours: 08:30-16:30 (Mon-Tue), 08:30-16:00 (Wed-Thu), 08:30-15:00 (Fri)
- Contract: Term-time only (39 weeks per year), Temp-to-Perm
- Pay: Starting at £ per hour
- Location: Lyndhurst, Hampshire
