JOB TITLE – Learning Support Assistant (LSA)ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming Primary School based in Bristol.

The school has a supportive team environment and provides ongoing CPD throughout the year.

Depending on performance, the school may look to extend the contract or offer a permanent position.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

Location: Bristol
Position: Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Full-Time: Monday to Friday
Day Rate: £90 – £110
Hours: 8:20 am – 3:30 pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

Experience working in a professional setting (school, childcare, healthcare, or similar)
Previous experience supporting children in the UK is desirable
Up-to-date safeguarding training issued within the last year
Experience or interest in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Knowledge of Autism, Speech and Language Needs, or other learning needs
Strong communication skills and good command of English
Experience within healthcare or social care is desirable

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered on the update service (or be willing to apply for one)
Provide two professional child-related references covering the last 2 years
