Prospero Teaching is looking for Supply Teachers to work in Secondary Schools across North London. Acting as a work-finding service, we provide supply cover to a range of Secondary and SEND schools across North London, from smaller community schools to large academies. We are seeking teachers who can confidently deliver lessons across Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5, demonstrate strong behaviour management, and have a passion for teaching and supporting students.
Prospero Teaching works with both newly qualified teachers and experienced teachers, helping them secure flexible and long-term opportunities in schools across North London. Many of our placements begin as day-to-day supply bookings and may extend into longer-term contracts depending on school needs.

- Position - Supply Teacher (Secondary)
- Type of work - Day to day and long term supply cover in North London secondary schools
- Start date - ASAP
- Duration / Likely Duration - Day to day bookings with potential for extension depending on schools
- End date (if applicable) - N/A
- Contract type - Temporary or Long Term contracts
- Full time/part time - Part time and full time depending on school needs
- Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate GBP120 per day
- Hours - 8:30 am - 4:00 pm (full day), half day (am or pm), individual lesson cover
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- QTS, QTLS, PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
- Previous experience working in a UK Secondary school as a class teacher
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references
