Prospero Teaching is seeking passionate, patient, and resilient SEN Educational Support Workers to join a specialist school in Totton, supporting children and young people aged 2-19 years with severe, profound, and complex learning difficulties. Many pupils also have co-existing conditions such as Autism, Down Syndrome, sensory needs, physical disabilities, and significant communication challenges. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Have the Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply)
  • Provide professional references covering the past 24 months, ideally involving work with children or vulnerable individuals
  • Hold a Level 2/3 qualification in childcare, education, health & social care, or have relevant SEN experience
