The predicted salary is between 38782 - 38782 Β£ per year.
We are seeking an experienced and committed Pastoral Manager to lead our Reflection Room provision and play a key role in maintaining high standards of behaviour, inclusion and student support.
You will manage the day-to-day operation of the Reflection Room, ensuring a calm, purposeful environment where students can reflect on their behaviour, engage in meaningful learning and successfully reintegrate into mainstream lessons. You will work closely with pastoral leaders, teaching staff, SEND colleagues and families to support positive outcomes for all pupils.
Key responsibilities:- Lead and manage the daily running of the Reflection Room
- Promote a calm, structured and respectful learning environment
- Support pupils to reflect on behaviour using restorative approaches
- Ensure completion of high-quality academic work during placements
- Support reintegration into lessons and ongoing behaviour improvement
- Work collaboratively with pastoral, SEND and safeguarding teams
- Maintain accurate behaviour records and monitor trends
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience working with young people in a school or similar setting
- Be confident in managing challenging behaviour positively and effectively
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Be highly organised with strong administrative skills
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
- Experience in behaviour support, inclusion, or alternative provision is desirable.
