Prospero Teaching is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a well-supported Maths Department at a secondary school in Newham. This exciting opportunity is open to both NQTs (Newly Qualified Teachers) and experienced educators. The role will focus on Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, and you will be supported by a committed team with access to continuous professional development. The school has a strong focus on academic achievement and student well-being, offering a warm, inclusive, and welcoming environment.

  • Hours: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, plus parents evenings

Experience, Training and Qualifications

  • QTS or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year teaching experience in the UK
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

Eligibility

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child-related references that cover the last 2 years
