About the role: The role supports the Humanities Faculty in planning, monitoring and developing KS3 Geography. It includes leadership of curriculum design, assessment, teaching quality, data analysis and the coordination of KS3 programmes.
We’re looking for a dedicated candidate to:
- Lead planning, monitoring and evaluation of KS3 Geography
- Support high standards of learning, progress and challenge
- Promote excellent practice across the department
- Contribute to whole school CPD and development
- Coordinate assessments, exams entries and resources
- Support moderation, curriculum development and teaching consistency
Requirements – The ideal candidate would have:
- Strong subject knowledge in Geography and KS3 curriculum requirements
- Experience leading or coordinating within a department
- Ability to analyse data and implement strategies to improve progress
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Commitment to modelling outstanding professional practice
