Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Functional Skills Outreach Tutor to deliver personalised English and Maths programmes to learners working between Entry Level 3 and Level 2, many of whom have Special Educational Needs (SEN) or have been out of formal education for an extended period in and around Bromley.

As a Functional Skills Outreach Tutor, you will design and deliver 1:1 bespoke learning sessions that rebuild confidence, close learning gaps, and support learners to achieve accredited outcomes. You will play a key role in re‑engaging young people in education by offering structured, accessible, and motivating sessions tailored to their individual needs.

Many learners may present with low confidence, anxiety, or barriers to learning. Your role is to provide a calm, consistent, and supportive learning environment that encourages progress and independence. Prospero Teaching will work closely with you to monitor learner development and ensure high‑quality teaching and learning.
