CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
- Location β Tooting, South West London
- Type of work β Leadership and class-based teaching β including strategic oversight of the EYFS phase, supporting curriculum development, leading staff, monitoring teaching & learning, and carrying out class teacher responsibilities (planning, preparation, assessment, and parent engagement).
- Start date β 5th January 2026
- End date β July 2026 with a view to extend to the end of academic year 2026/27
- Contract type β Temporary
- Full time/part time β Full time
- Rate Of Pay: LGPS (dependent on experience)
- Hours β 8:00am β 16:00pm : Mon β Fri (term time only)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in EYFS / KS1
- DBS on the Update Service
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework, National Curriculum, and effective assessment practices.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching that promotes progress and inclusion for all pupils.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding, well-being, and continuous professional development.
- Collaborative, reflective, and passionate about providing the best start to every child's education.
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
