We are recruiting a versatile English & Maths Tutor to provide personalised 1:1 tuition to a learner in Wrexham.
The ideal candidate will be confident supporting core subjects and able to create structured, engaging sessions that are responsive to the learner's individual needs.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver 1:1 English and Maths tuition
Plan lessons around individual learning objectives
Identify and address gaps in knowledge
Differentiate activities and resources
Encourage learner participation and confidence
Develop independent learning skills
Monitor progress and provide feedback
Requirements
Strong knowledge of English and Maths
Previous teaching or tutoring experience
Experience working with children or young people
Ability to adapt teaching to different abilities
Patient and supportive approach
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
Right to Work in the UK
Two professional child-related references
