Prospero Teaching are working with a range of supportive and welcoming primary schools across Waltham Forest who are looking to appoint enthusiastic Early Career Teachers (ECTs) for roles starting in September 2026.

These schools are committed to supporting Early Career Teachers through comprehensive induction programmes, dedicated mentors, and ongoing professional development opportunities. Positions are available across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, providing ECTs with the opportunity to begin their teaching career in a supportive and nurturing environment.   • Type of Work - Class Teacher; planning, preparation, marking, assessments and parents' evenings
  • Contract Start Date - September 2026
  • Duration / Likely Duration - Full Academic Year
  • Contract Type - Temporary / Permanent opportunities available
  • Full Time/Part Time - Full Time
  • Minimum Rate of Pay - Competitive, in line with Inner London MPS
  • Hours - 8:30am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • QTS (or expected QTS by September 2026)
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting through placements
  • Strong classroom management skills

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional references covering the last two years
