Responsibilities
- Supervise classes during teacher absence, delivering pre-planned work.
- Manage challenging behaviour confidently in line with school policies.
- Create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment.
- Build positive, restorative relationships with pupils to encourage engagement.
- Support small group interventions and assist with pastoral duties.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with young people, ideally within a PRU, SEND, or challenging behaviour setting.
- Resilient, patient, and able to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong behaviour management skills.
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
