We are working with a well-regarded secondary school in Dulwich to recruit a Careers Administrator. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, proactive administrator to join a supportive school environment and play a key role in helping students prepare for their future education and career pathways.

This is a varied position, supporting the Careers Lead with the day-to-day administration of the school's careers programme and ensuring students have access to high-quality careers education, guidance and employer engagement opportunities.

The Role

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support for the school's careers programme.
  • Coordinate careers fairs, employer talks, university visits and other events.
  • Maintain accurate careers records and databases.
  • Liaise with students, parents, staff, employers, universities and external organisations.
  • Support the administration of work experience placements and associated documentation.
  • Prepare communications, newsletters and promotional materials.
  • Assist with data collection, reporting and compliance with Gatsby Benchmarks and statutory guidance.
  • Act as a professional and welcoming first point of contact for careers-related enquiries.

  • Previous administrative experience within a school or education setting.
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and database management.
  • A professional, positive and approachable manner.
  • A genuine interest in supporting young people and their future aspirations.
