After School Tutor who is passionate, confident, and keen to make a difference in a young person\'s life. The successful candidate will have experience in either
Maths or English tutoring up to GCSE level and will be able to deliver high-quality lessons, support student progress, monitor achievement, and provide outstanding educational support.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned tuition in
- Maths and English up to GCSE level
- Plan and deliver personalised lessons that meet individual learning needs.
- Support students with a range of abilities, including those with additional learning needs.
- Monitor progress, set achievable targets, and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive, motivating, and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential.
- Experience teaching Maths and/or English at secondary GCSE level.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to adapt lessons to different learners.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable
- Experience supporting students with SEN or SEMH needs.
- Background in tutoring or delivering targeted interventions.
