We are seeking tutors who have experience working with students with Special Educational Needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and other additional learning requirements. Many of the students require tailored 1:1 support to help them engage with education, build confidence, and achieve positive outcomes. This is a highly rewarding opportunity for educators who are passionate about supporting vulnerable young people and making a meaningful difference to their educational journey.
The role:
- Delivering personalised 1:1 SEN tuition
- Supporting students in the home, community settings, or online
- Planning and adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs
- Building positive and trusting relationships with students
- Encouraging engagement, confidence, and academic progress
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- A nurturing, adaptable, and empathetic approach
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
- QTS, PGCE, SEN experience, or relevant tutoring/support background preferred
