The Role
- 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEND
- Supporting children with autism, ADHD, challenging behaviour and complex needs
- Providing academic, emotional and behavioural support
- Delivering interventions and assisting with classroom activities
- Building positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Promoting an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND
- Experience supporting autism and/or complex needs is desirable
- Patient, resilient and nurturing approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Good understanding of safeguarding
- Relevant TA, LSA or education experience is desirable
