Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in the Liverpool area. We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic educator.

Location: Liverpool, L5

Start Date: As soon as possible

Contract Type: Temporary, Long Term

Working Hours: Full time, 8:00am - 4.00pm

Salary: Paid to scale

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to secondary school students.
  • Develop and implement creative lesson plans that cater to varying student needs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student achievement.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience teaching in a UK secondary school.
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable, but not essential as training can be provided).
  • Right to Work in the UK.
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or willingness to apply for a new one.
  • Ability to provide two professional references.
