Prospero Teaching are looking to recruit an excellent KS2 Teacher interested in securing a role within a secondary school to bridge students' learning gaps. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the life of a young person, providing tailored academic and emotional support within a secondary school setting.

Location: Liverpool

Type of work: Temporary, long term

Start date: September 2026

Days: Full time

Hours: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm

Responsibilities:

  • Create a primary-style classroom to deliver the core.
  • Collaborate with feeder primary schools to understand what exact curriculum content the children have covered, building tailored bridging units so that Year 7 learning flows seamlessly from Year 6.

To be eligible:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable, but not essential as training can be provided).
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
  • Provide at least two professional references covering at least 24 months/cover the last 2 years.
