GCSE English & Maths Tutor - Liverpool

The Opportunity

Prospero Teaching is recruiting GCSE English & Maths Tutors to provide tailored 1:1 tuition to secondary-aged learners throughout Liverpool.

You'll work directly with students to identify areas where they need additional support, delivering engaging lessons that strengthen subject knowledge and build confidence ahead of their GCSE examinations.

This is a flexible opportunity for teachers and experienced tutors who enjoy working on an individual basis.

Experience, Training and Qualifications

The successful applicant will ideally have

  • Experience teaching GCSE English and/or Maths
  • QTS, PGCE or an equivalent teaching qualification
  • Strong knowledge of the GCSE curriculum
  • The ability to adapt lessons to different learning needs

To be eligible, you must

  • Hold the Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service, or be willing to apply
  • Provide two professional child-related references
