Pay rate: Competitive 600-750 per week (120-150 per day) (dependent on experience and responsibilities)

We are working closely with a SEN Primary School in Rochdale to support them in filling their vacancies for passionate, dedicated Teaching Assistants. This school is an outstanding specialist primary school that provides exceptional education and support to children with complex learning needs, autism, and physical or sensory impairments. At this specialist school, every child is treated as an individual, and the school takes pride in fostering an environment where students can flourish. The staff are committed to delivering a tailored, person-centred approach, ensuring that each child's unique needs are met.

As a Level 4 Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will play an essential role in supporting students and assisting in their academic and personal development, and contributing to a calm, structured, and nurturing learning environment.

What we’re looking for from a Level 4 Teaching Assistant:

  • A recent graduate (2:2 or higher) OR prior experience as a Teaching Assistant in a similar SEND setting.
  • Previous experience working with Special Educational Needs is essential.
  • A strong commitment to supporting children with complex needs and a passion for making a difference in their lives.
  • Previous experience working in a UK school.
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year.

To be eligible you must:

  • Hold Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualifications.
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK.
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service OR be willing to process a new application.
  • Provide two professional child related references.
