About the Role as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant:
- Provide expert 1:1 and small group support to pupils with EHCPs and additional needs
- Deliver tailored interventions and support plans to help pupils overcome barriers to learning
- Mentor and guide pupils, promoting resilience, emotional regulation, and positive behaviour
- Work closely with teachers to co-plan lessons, track progress, and contribute to pupil development
- Support the wider school team in creating a nurturing, inclusive learning environment
What We're Looking For in a Level 3 Teaching Assistant:
- Proven experience supporting children with SEND, SEMH, or complex needs
- A Level 3 TA qualification (or equivalent)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with pupils and colleagues
- A compassionate, calm, and proactive approach to behaviour and learning support
- Strong understanding of Autism, SEMH, and SEND strategies
To Be Eligible You Must:
- Hold the Right to Work in the UK
- Have an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the update service (or be willing to apply)
- Provide two professional child-related references
