We are working with a warm, inclusive specialist school in Oldham seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in helping children with SEND, SEMH, and complex needs grow in confidence, independence, and learning.

About the Role as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant:

Provide expert 1:1 and small group support to pupils with EHCPs and additional needs
Deliver tailored interventions and support plans to help pupils overcome barriers to learning
Mentor and guide pupils, promoting resilience, emotional regulation, and positive behaviour
Work closely with teachers to co-plan lessons, track progress, and contribute to pupil development
Support the wider school team in creating a nurturing, inclusive learning environment

What We\’re Looking For in a Level 3 Teaching Assistant:

Proven experience supporting children with SEND, SEMH, or complex needs
A Level 3 TA qualification (or equivalent)
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with pupils and colleagues
A compassionate, calm, and proactive approach to behaviour and learning support
Strong understanding of Autism, SEMH, and SEND strategies

Hold the Right to Work in the UK
Have an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the update service (or be willing to apply)
Provide two professional child-related references
