Learning Support Assistant - 1:1 SEND
Location: Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire
Daily Rate: £95 per day
Contract: Full-time, term-time
Start: ASAP
Hours: 37 hours per week
The Role
- Provide consistent 1:1 support throughout the school day
- Follow and support targets within the student's EHCP
- Support learning across lessons and adapt resources where required
- Help the student develop greater independence and confidence
- Support pupils with Autism and sensory needs
- Use appropriate behaviour and engagement strategies
- Deliver targeted interventions when required
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching and SEND staff

Ideal Candidate
We would particularly like to hear from candidates with experience as a:
- Learning Support Assistant
- SEND Teaching Assistant
- SEN Teaching Assistant
- 1:1 Teaching Assistant
- Autism Support Worker
- Learning Mentor
- SEN Support Worker
Previous experience supporting Autism, sensory processing needs, EHCP pupils or students requiring significant 1:1 support would be highly desirable.
You should be patient, reliable and confident building a strong professional relationship with an individual pupil.
