Job description

Role: KS2 Tutor

Location: Manchester (M13)

Hours: 8:30am-3:45pm

Pay: £110-£130 per day, depending on experience

Prospero Teaching are currently working with a primary pupil referral to recruit a KS2 tutor. You will be based at the school, on a full-time basis. This role is temp-perm, starting in January.

The school supports pupils aged between 7-11, with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. You will be required to support pupils 1:1, delivering pre-planned lessons.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Previous experience supporting SEMH within a school setting
  • Good curriculum knowledge and ability to deliver pre-planned sessions
  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
  • Level 2 Team Teach training (required but training can be provided)
  • TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
