Key Stage 2 Teacher - Bolton

Start Date: September 2026

Contract Type: Full-time, Long-Term Temporary

Salary: 160-220 per day

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm

The Role

This position will involve full class teacher responsibilities within Key Stage 2, including planning, assessment, and the delivery of a broad and balanced curriculum. Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver effective lessons in accordance with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Assess and evaluate pupil progress, using data to inform future teaching
  • Maintain a well-managed classroom environment with clear expectations for behaviour
  • Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils
  • Support pupils' academic achievement as well as their social and emotional development
  • Engage with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupil outcomes

The Ideal Candidate

  • Will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2
  • Demonstrate strong curriculum knowledge and effective instructional practice
  • Possess confident classroom management skills
  • Show a commitment to continuous improvement and raising standards
  • Work effectively as part of a wider school team

Essential Requirements

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Two satisfactory references relating to working with children
