We are currently seeking an experienced Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a supportive and welcoming primary school in Heywood. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about delivering high-quality education and supporting pupils' progress and development.

Role Details

  • Position: KS2 Teacher
  • Location: Heywood
  • Pay: 140 - 240 per day (depending on experience)
  • Start Date: Immediate / ASAP
  • Contract: Full-time / Long-term (flexible depending on school needs)

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
  • Managing classroom behaviour to create a positive learning environment
  • Assessing, monitoring, and reporting on pupil progress
  • Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners
  • Working collaboratively with support staff and senior leadership
  • Supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Previous KS2 teaching experience is essential
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • A dedicated, proactive, and adaptable approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
